DESERTGREENER – Workshop at Fraunhofer

From 2.7.2024 to 4.7.2024, a seminar on strategic orientation of further Fraunhofer activities on planning took place.

The focus here was on next steps towards “tower solutions” and related capabilities.

There was an intensive discussion on the basic concept, as well as the required design structure, further planning stages and possible improvement opportunities compared to the basic patent.

In addition to the technical staff from Vienna, researchers and technicians from the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics (IPB) and researchers and technicians from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Freiburg also participated in this seminar.

Of course the workshop was continued in the evening with the EM – Austria – Turkey.
